Dealership Donates $7K to Local Nonprofit

TOPEKA ( KSNT – A nearby automobile dealer is offering substantial funds to back a charity organization.

It is part of Briggs Subaru of Topeka’s Share the Love event Funds from each vehicle go towards supporting a local charity. On Tuesday, April 15, Briggs Subaru of Topeka presented a donation check worth $7,000 to the Ronald McDonald House.

That contribution will pay for 280 nights at the Ronald McDonald House.

There are many businesses in this area that thrive, and they contribute significantly," stated Cody Vondra from Briggs Subaru of Topeka. "Our aim is to ensure that we're among those standout companies making a real difference for our local community.

When you remove the obligation—or the perceived duty—to contribute financially for their accommodation, it allows parents to concentrate primarily on their children, which is truly crucial," stated Mindee Reece, CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities. "Therefore, this funding from Briggs Subaru will help cover these donation expenses, enabling families to fully devote themselves to caring for their kids.

The Ronald McDonald House offers a lodging spot for families who are looking after their sick children in the hospital.
