Moroccan Engineers Land €1.3M Investment for Fleet Management Tech Startup

Founded by Moroccan siblings Salah and Khalil El Hajji in 2021, CleanMob has secured €1.3 million in seed financing from investors including BPI France, 212Founders by CDG Invest, MNF Ventures, Tremplin Capital, along with four individual angel investors.

This startup provides advanced fleet management using exclusive virtual sensor tech that merges signal processing, predictive artificial intelligence, and physical laws modeling. Completely software-based, their system handles information from 25 leading car manufacturers and connects unlinked vehicles with the help of smartphone sensors; installation can be completed remotely within three days.

CleanMob’s system tracks energy usage, offers predictive upkeep, computes carbon dioxide emissions, and streamlines the shift to electric vehicles. Key customers encompass Engie Home Services and Asten Santé.

This startup, which is included in Station F's Future 40 list and was propelled by MoveLab (Class 13, 2025), intends to link up 50,000 vehicles by 2027. Their strategy involves focusing on medium and big enterprises while they keep working on their research and development initiatives.

Salah, who formerly served as the chief engineer at Volvo Group, has specialized knowledge in automotive engineering. On the other hand, Khalil, ex-Head of Product at Wynd, contributes his skills in software architecture.
