BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) — Authorities say a man from St. George has been charged with a sexual offense after allegedly groping a young girl’s buttocks. This information was gathered from the official arrest report acquired by WAFB.
Based on the arrest report, William Eduardo Sanchez Serpec, who is 21 years old, went up to a group of children playing basketball in a parking lot on Manchester Avenue at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 17.
He allegedly offered the victim alcohol and money from his wallet before running his hand down her back and squeezing her buttocks.
The witnesses verified for the investigators what transpired and mentioned that the man was also blowing kisses at other kids.
The deputy who responded proceeded to Serpec’s apartment. Upon arrival, the deputy noted that Serpec seemed drunk and was incapable of providing a statement.
He got arrested and was transported to the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison where he was charged with molesting a minor.
