Montgomery Chamber Hosts After-Hours Bash for Small Business Week

MONTGOMERY, Ala. ( WSFA ) - During National Small Business Week, as usual, the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce By assisting our local enterprises, we're now convening numerous such entities for networking purposes.

Small enterprises form the backbone of our community," stated Greg Godwin, who serves as the Vice President of Business Affairs for the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce. "We wouldn't have a chamber of commerce without these small businesses.

It benefits our community and the whole river region, and we wouldn't be able to achieve this without the support of small businesses.

During Small Business Week, we focus on supporting local businesses and circulating funds within the River Region community; however, the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce encourages this practice throughout the entire year, not just during this week.

“We aim for our local economy to thrive as much as it can,” said Alexandra Smith, who works as a loan officer at Fairway Independent Mortgage “We aim to improve our schools, attract excellent restaurants, and boost tourism. Ultimately, if we fail to invest in the local businesses that give our community its uniqueness, we won’t be able to sustain strong school systems, thriving tourism, or top-notch dining options,” he stated.

Smith indicates that backing local enterprises benefits everyone involved.
