PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Everyone needs some assistance from time to time, so the Central Panhandle Association of Realtors decided to team up with a faith-based non-profit organization for this purpose.
The fundraising event was established at the PCB Market located near Highway 98 and Navy Boulevard.
It began on Saturday and concluded today at 3 p.m.
Funds were gathered via raffle tickets where the awards had been contributed by the merchants operating within the marketplace.
"The Central Panhandle Association of Realtors has partnered with Hand Up for this year. As part of my presidential initiative, I aim to collaborate with them in raising funds to support their efforts. They organize monthly food drives and contribute to the local community, veterans, and senior citizens; thus, we want to join forces to give back to them this year," stated Ariane Johnson, who serves as the president of CPAR.
