
The proprietor of Old Town Pizza has bought the building where the renowned – and possibly haunted – pizzeria has been operating for a long time.
The owner, Adam Milne, mentioned that he acquired the Merchant Hotel property for $2.6 million.

"I intend to introduce or expand tours of the upstairs bedrooms, the long-abandoned elevator, the vintage lounge area, and the grand ballroom to highlight the distinctive architectural features throughout the Merchant Hotel," he stated.

The 60,500-square-foot property located at 222-228 N.W. Records indicate that NBP purchased it for $12.25 million in 2017.
But the building had gone back to the lender in 2023, from which Milne bought it in the deal registered in Multnomah County property records last week.
