
GARFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio – The Walgreens store located in Garfield Heights will be closing down next month.
Last year, the firm disclosed intentions to close several outlets due to profit issues. The business is set to terminate operations at the site located at 5090 Turney Road starting from Tuesday, June 24th, as mentioned in an online statement.
It's located at the northwest intersection of Turney and McCracken roads.
A year ago, it was reported that the company considered both underperforming stores and the closeness of other Walgreens when deciding which specific locations to close.
A tale shared on RetailWire last Sunday. cited 29 Walgreens stores across various states scheduled for closure this month, with none mentioned in Ohio.
A different Walgreens located at 12777 Rockside Road in Garfield Heights continues to operate.
